How 7 of 9 (Jerri Ryan) Gave us Barrack Obama
Jerri Ryan (Seven of Nine) was married to Jack Ryan. Jack was about to become the 2004 Republican senator from Illinois when he and wife (Seven of Nine - Jerri Ryan) went through a very public sex scandal. The senate race was literally in his pocket but then, due to pressure from within his own party, he was forced to withdraw from the race.
Who was the Democratic senatorial candidate who benefited from this?
Barrack Obama won that campaign and did his only stint in the senate before becoming the President. FOUR YEARS in Federal Government before becoming President? Yikes. Good luck to us all. Not that it would have been any better had McCain won, I suppose.
